Bangkok isn’t exactly short on places to grab a cold one—but every now and then you stumble onto a spot that does things their way. Tucked away in Warehouse N1 on On Nut , in one of the city’s most laid-back but quietly buzzing craft-beer corners, Radicle Beer stands out in a city already overflowing with taps and talent. It’s a place that treats brewing like a rebellious art form, yet somehow still keeps it welcoming enough that you feel like a regular on your first visit.
During our visit, we walked into a taproom that doesn’t try too hard but still hits all the right notes: great energy, knowledgeable staff, and a lineup of beers that aren’t afraid to push limits. From punchy IPAs to quirky experimental brews, Radicle isn’t aiming for safe—it’s aiming for memorable.
If you’re into craft beer, Bangkok, or just finding spots with personality, Radicle Beer deserves a spot on your list, with smoke & fermentation-inspired food that pairs very well with their beer selections.

Besides what’s already on tap, they’re planning to brew their own beers—something I’m really looking forward to. The warehouse housing the taproom has windows into the brewery, so eventually you’ll be able to watch the magic of the brewing process unfold.

We began with a few appetizers, starting with Tea Leaf Tartlet – a toasted tart filled with fermented green tea, grilled prawn, tomato, and sweet corn. A clever twist on the classic, it offered a blend of complex and layered flavors. This was followed by Golden Twins – a crispy bean paste shell encasing a delicate seafood medley, complemented by a smooth roasted garlic purée. The dish struck a perfect balance between creamy and crunchy textures.

They also offer a wide assortment of beers and bar snacks, which can be purchased in bags or enjoyed directly at the table, making it easy to pair your drink with a tasty bite.

Now, Radicle Beer boasts a full wall of locally brewed craft beers, featuring names any craft beer fan in Bangkok will recognize—Torpedo, Red Truck, Idahog, Lynch in Peach, Vienna Lager, Guinness, and many more. They also rotate the taps regularly, so there’s always something new and exciting to try.

Next came Sambal Seabass – grilled seabass wrapped in banana leaf and topped with housemade sambal chili paste. The dish was fragrant with a lively balance of spicy and sour flavors. This was followed by Radicle Ribs – 12-hour smoked BBQ pork ribs glazed with housemade BBQ sauce, served alongside truffle mashed potato. Sweet, smoky, and juicy, the ribs were tender enough to fall off the bone.

To finish on a sweet note, we enjoyed Crème Brûlée – the chef’s special home recipe, served with a fresh, zesty fruit salsa. The dessert offered a perfect balance of creamy richness and a bright, sweet-sour contrast, making it a delightful conclusion to the meal.

The vibe at Radicle Beer Company is relaxed, casual, and friendly. They also shake things up with events—from DJs to live bands—so keep an eye on their Facebook and Instagram for the latest line-up. And don’t be surprised if you find yourself drawn into a beer tasting or competition while you’re there!

Keeping the place ticking are Manager Jo and Chef Phyo.
